Overview

Arcfield is a leading provider of digital transformation, space mission engineering, and launch assurance services. As an Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's mission to protect the nation and its allies.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Mission Partners, Sponsor Leadership, and functional teams to ensure timely handling of acquisition actions and foster effective communication.
  • Assist Sponsor in identifying, assessing, and articulating mission requirements and guiding requirements through various contract processes necessary for acquiring IT support.
  • Prepare and/or perform administrative activities related to program management and execution, including compiling and/or archiving necessary documentation, entering, monitoring, and updating requisite data in Sponsor business systems, and assisting with resource deployments.
  • Validate skill level and labor category references for onboarding IT resources, validate resource labor rates, review and coordinate requests for additional hours and/or cost, verify and track Foreign Ownership and Control, or Influence (FOCI) approvals for assigned subcontractor entities, process and/or coordinate BASIS Contract Requests (BCRs) and/or funding commitments, process and/or monitor clearance and/or access request actions, verify and schedule Contractor Screening actions for High-Risk Roles (HRRs), as required, review and coordinate travel request and training requests, and coordinate and communicate activity status with Leadership and Stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 or minimum two-year degree from an accredited academic institution.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience supporting acquisition-related activities for Government organizations.

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business and/or technical discipline; Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Systems Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • Two (2) years of experience supporting acquisition-related activities for Sponsor organizations.
  • Experience guiding individuals through Government acquisition processes.
  • Experience directly supporting IT-related projects and/or work activities.
  • Experience with Sponsor business systems, e.g., BASIS, CAPTURE Billing, CAPTURE Contracts, Workforce Management System (WMS), SLA Workflow.
