Metals Manufacturing Operations Manager

As a key member of our client's team, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing foundry operations to enhance production efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to act as a liaison between workers and management.
Key Responsibilities:- Bridge Communication: Act as a liaison between hourly workers and management to ensure clear communication and address any operational issues promptly.
- Optimize Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce downtime across all foundry operations.
- Monitor Performance: Oversee production metrics and performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure Quality: Maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure all products meet or exceed specifications and customer requirements.
- Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Manage Maintenance: Oversee maintenance schedules and repairs to ensure all equipment is operating optimally and minimize production disruptions.
- Develop Training Programs: Design and implement training programs to bridge skills gaps, improve worker proficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead and Motivate: Guide and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives productivity and aligns with company goals.
