Primary Objective:
The main responsibility is to coordinate projects assigned by the Engineering Manager, ensuring that plant goals are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive project plans, present them to management, and ensure timely execution.
2. Oversee the implementation of all capital projects within the plant.
3. Maintain and define all documentation related to drawings and workflows of plant operations.
4. Lead the implementation team for new products and processes, participating in company communications.
5. Conduct time studies and establish standard operating procedures.
6. Assist in refining process flows to enhance plant operations and support continuous improvement.
7. Actively engage in assigned teams and projects.
8. Uphold the company's commitment to a union-free environment.
9. Ensure a safe and productive workplace, including maintaining cleanliness.
10. Contribute to the identification and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
11. Exemplify CITE and teamwork principles.
12. Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
13. Drive continuous improvement through Lean and TPM tools.
14. Provide electrical and mechanical design aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the essential duties outlined below:

Education, Experience, and Skills:
1. A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial preferred) or a related field; extensive experience may substitute for formal education.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing project engineering, preferably in wood-related industries.
3. Familiarity with material flows, continuous improvement methodologies, and process analysis.
4. Six Sigma training is advantageous.
5. Proficient in personal computer skills within a network environment; experience with Microsoft products is preferred (Outlook, Word, Excel) and extensive knowledge of MS Project software.

Communication Skills:
1. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business and technical publications and financial reports.
2. Strong listening and communication skills to effectively address inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the public.
3. Capability to create and deliver presentations to production teams, plant-level teams, or public audiences.

Mathematical Skills:
1. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts for manufacturing performance and financial recording.
2. Proficient in using a tape measure.

Reasoning Ability:
1. Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
2. Capacity to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in various formats.

Physical Requirements:
1. Regularly required to stand, walk, and communicate effectively.
2. Frequently required to use hands for handling and reaching.
3. Occasionally required to lift up to 20 pounds.
4. Typical indoor manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection may be necessary.
