We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Acme Aerospace. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical circuits and systems for our energy storage products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and take ownership of customer technical requirements.
  • Develop electrical architectures to satisfy technical requirements within budget, recurring cost, and schedule constraints.
  • Design and analyze new circuits or circuit variants, including schematic design of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for Power Supplies, Battery Chargers, and Battery Management Circuits.
  • Participate in product qualification of new products per customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Generate sub-assembly and top-assembly acceptance test procedures (ATP).
  • Resolve technical problems with existing products and new designs.
  • Perform prototype and qualification unit testing activities.
  • Participate in software development, verification, testing, and documentation.
  • Use simulation software to simulate design concepts.
  • Generate engineering documents, including Test Plans and Test Reports.
  • Support integration and system testing of hardware and software.
Requirements:
  • BSEE (required) or MSEE (preferred)
  • 7-10 years of experience in electrical design of printed circuit boards
  • Expert knowledge of Analog and Digital Circuits
  • Familiar with PWM control for AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion
  • Strong ability in use lab equipment for troubleshooting or testing
  • Able to read and interpret schematics
  • Understanding of C/C++ and assembly code for embedded systems
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Skilled with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Follows Company Policies and Guidelines for engineering design and can recommend/drive process improvements
  • Exhibits a High Level of Integrity
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time and an air-conditioned and heated office. The noise level is occasionally high.
