About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Salt River Project (SRP). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design and development of high voltage substation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support design teams in the conceptual, preliminary, and final design of station projects.
  • Develop and produce engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for high voltage substation projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform engineering analyses and design reviews to ensure the safety and reliability of substation equipment.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design guides and procedures.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on high voltage substations.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, including circuit analysis and protection systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in engineering software, including AutoCAD and electrical design software.
