Job Summary:

The Senior Manager EH&S will be responsible for executing EHS policies and procedures across the Luxottica Atlanta campus to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. This includes developing and implementing programs to ensure compliance, analyzing safety metrics, and providing leadership with accurate reporting and metrics to support business safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement EHS programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Analyze safety metrics and provide leadership with accurate reporting and metrics to support business safety initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments and develop action plans to address potential risks
  • Provide technical support and direction for EHS compliance and accident prevention programs and practices
  • Interface with external regulatory agencies, including OSHA, Henry County, Fire Department, and other local, state, and federal agencies
Requirements:
  • BS/BA in safety, environmental, ergonomics, or a related field
  • 8+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing organizations
  • Possess a thorough understanding of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to environmental, health, and safety compliance
  • Experience leading change in a large manufacturing or distribution environment and managing multiple direct reports
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with Directors and VPs
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced, changing/growing organization
  • Handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
