Position Overview
The Sales Associate at Taylor Stitch plays a crucial role in the success of our retail locations.

In this role, you will embody the values of our brand while engaging with customers daily, all while developing your skills as a salesperson in our expanding company.

Our stores are vibrant hubs located in lively neighborhoods, where we aim to provide world-class customer service in a friendly and relaxed environment while driving sales.

Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Engagement
  • Greet and engage with every customer warmly
  • Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance regarding style and fit
  • Utilize extensive product knowledge to enhance customer interactions, emphasizing the unique features and benefits of our offerings
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce customer service team to ensure a cohesive customer experience
  • Build a personal clientele by actively seeking new business opportunities and mastering made-to-measure services
  • Handle returns, exchanges, repairs, alterations, and customer inquiries with care and professionalism
Operational Duties
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized store and stockroom
  • Ensure accurate inventory management on a daily basis
  • Assist in the management of clothing alterations
  • Keep the store visually appealing and engaging for customers
Qualifications
General Requirements
  • Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred
  • Exceptional sales and customer service abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Availability to work weekends
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to navigate staircases while carrying merchandise
  • Regularly perform store cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30lbs safely
  • Comfortable using ladders
