Rancho Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence in wound management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal wound healing and patient outcomes.
- Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses on wound care and prevention best practices.
- Administer medications and document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Some wound care experience is preferred, but not required.
- Certification in wound care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum experience: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
