Respiratory Care Specialist

UW Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at UWMC - Montlake. As a key member of our Respiratory Care Team, you will provide advanced respiratory care to patients of all ages, utilizing the respiratory care process to recommend, delegate, coordinate, and provide safe, therapeutic respiratory care.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize the respiratory care process to provide high-quality patient care
- Make independent judgments and decisions regarding patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Perform leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and management
- Serve as a role model and provide guidance to other staff members
- Completion of a respiratory care program approved by the State of Washington Department of Health
- Legal requirement: Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of Washington
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
