About the Role

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individualized student assessments to identify specific needs and develop targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement occupational therapy plans and provide strategies for fine motor and sensory integration
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Provide consultation to teachers and staff on occupational therapy best practices
  • Meet mandatory continuing education requirements and demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competency
Requirements
  • Masters or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Current Active State License to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Arizona
  • Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
