Essential Skills:

Proficiency in design, land development, and professional engineering is required. Familiarity with hydrology, site planning, stormwater management, drainage systems, grading, and street maintenance is essential. Additional skills include cost estimation, schedule planning, technical report writing, and hydraulics.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of civil engineering design experience. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, mentoring team members, and managing project workflows. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and team-building skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage land development projects from inception through construction support. A PE certification is mandatory.
