Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at MetroStar Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving improvements in observability, performance, and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze platform and containerized applications to identify performance and availability risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with the team and customers to design and implement solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Work on the core platform to create and optimize functions needed to establish a strong platform infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and containerization solutions.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience as an SRE with a strong understanding of SRE principles for highly scalable and reliable systems.
  • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment and with source code repositories and CI/CD pipeline solutions.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization, K8, and CI/CD automation.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools.
  • Willingness to work in downtown Washington, DC on client site at least 3 days per week.
  • A Bachelor's degree and an active TS/SCI clearance.
