Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering quality care to patients at VitalCore Health Strategies. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing nursing care within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Licensed Practical Nurses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to medical staff
  • Implement nursing care within the LPN's scope of practice, including administering medications and caring for wounds
  • Assist in the development and implementation of teaching plans based on individual patient needs
  • Provide care for multiple patients as directed by the HSA, DON, or Registered Nurse
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
  • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment
  • Possesses an active CPR certification
  • Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice
