Dynamic Speech Therapist Assistant for Texas School District

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist Assistant to join our team at a school district in Parmer Center, Texas. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders, evaluating and diagnosing communication disorders, and developing treatment plans.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid Texas State SLP License and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent. Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
The selected candidate will enjoy a competitive salary, with weekly pay ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include guaranteed work hours, payment for both direct and indirect services rendered, liability insurance coverage, and a comprehensive health, vision, and dental package. Stipends are available under certain circumstances.
Job Requirements:- A valid Texas State SLP License
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Prior school-based experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
