Advocate Health is seeking a visionary Medical Director to lead our Adult Transplant and Cell Therapy program at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. As a key member of our physician-led medical group, you will be responsible for driving clinical operations, quality and regulatory compliance, and advancing the program through education and research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical operations, including ambulatory and inpatient services
- Ensure quality and regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement education and research initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance the program
- Serve as Program Director for hematopoietic cellular therapy, adhering to FACT-JACIE Standards
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois and Wisconsin
- Board certified in Hematology
- At least 5 years of experience in autologous and allogeneic transplant
- Proven track record as a clinical research investigator
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success working with multidisciplinary teams
- History of training focused on hematologic malignancies
- Success in obtaining extramural funds for clinical trials and/or basic science research
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse teams and establish relationships
