Position Overview: The Clinical Nurse provides essential patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), where individuals with significant health challenges receive critical, timely, and intricate medical attention to stabilize and enhance their health status.
Work Schedule: This is a Full-Time position (36 hours) with a variable schedule comprising three 12-hour shifts during the day from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, including on-call duties as per a 6-week rotation, which may involve weekends or night shifts.
PACU Services: The PACU is designed to deliver preoperative care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
- Gynecological
- Obstetrical
- General
- Genitourinary
- Oncological
- Orthopedic
- Plastic surgeries.
The nursing staff in the PACU is committed to providing flexible and responsive care for both elective and emergency cases, available 24/7.

- Exhibit advanced clinical knowledge and skills to manage patients requiring complex assessments and high-intensity interventions.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the relevant state or compact.
- Certification in BLS and other relevant advanced life support programs as required for specific areas.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a preoperative or PACU setting.
