POSITION SUMMARY:

The Practical Nurse (LPN) will deliver direct and personalized nursing care to a designated group of patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare provider. This role involves observing, documenting, and reporting medical information and nursing interventions in the electronic health record.

The LPN will educate patients and their families according to established teaching plans and will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and individualized patient care.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess a current license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of employment or hold a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required prior to the completion of orientation.
