About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Performance Engineer to join our team at Databricks. As a key member of our performance engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the scalability and efficiency of our data and AI platform.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate the performance of products and features to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement performance optimization strategies.
  • Analyze telemetry and customer data to inform product development and drive business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in performance analysis and optimization of large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture.
  • Ability to collaborate with developers and engineers to resolve performance issues.

Compensation and Benefits

Databricks offers a competitive salary range of $166,000-$225,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
