About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Native Data Platform Engineer to join our team at Databricks. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-native data platforms that empower our customers to extract insights from their data.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable cloud-native data platforms using modern cloud-based technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data platforms with other components of our platform
  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for our data platforms, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and deployment guides
  • Work closely with our product management team to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our data offerings

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud-native data platform engineering, preferably in a cloud-based environment
  • Deep knowledge of cloud-based data storage systems, data processing frameworks, and distributed computing technologies
  • Experience with cloud-native data platforms, such as Databricks, is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

Compensation & Benefits:

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $166,000-$225,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Additionally, we provide a generous equity program and opportunities for professional growth and development.
