About the Job:

Burgess Norton Mfg Co is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing and procuring indirect materials, services, and production supplies while ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.

Key Tasks:
  1. Raise purchase orders for parts, capital equipment, services, and special tools.
  2. Work closely with departmental stakeholders to plan requirements by product category and vendor.
  3. Analyze quotations from suppliers and negotiate prices and terms.
  4. Contribute to global procurement initiatives and purchasing meetings.
  5. Identify opportunities for cost savings through alternative sourcing and spot buy efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP software (MM & PP module transactions).
Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
