This position is situated within a dynamic service line, part of a rapidly expanding practice. The Inova Cardiology team consists of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and medical assistants committed to delivering compassionate and comprehensive clinical care.
As the Lead Outpatient Registered Nurse, you will:
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic policies and procedures.
- Act as a clinical expert and team leader, fostering effective communication and collaboration among clinical staff.
- Support self-development and lifelong learning while guiding others in their professional growth.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse, with a preference for candidates who have over one year of experience in cardiology nursing, including backgrounds in IMCU, PCU, Tele, or CVICU.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications for healthcare providers are required.
Licensure: Must hold a valid RN license or be eligible to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
