This position is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of Assembly Technicians, overseeing the production process while guiding the production staff, training and mentoring them to meet our high standards and production goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage daily fabrication workflow and logistics to ensure efficient and consistent operations.">
  • Evaluate data input accuracy in Consumable & MX Budget Tracker (Excel Document).">
  • Motivate, train, and lead fabrication personnel.">
  • Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to meet production targets.">
  • Direct the workforce in daily tasks for production, fabrication, and assembly to specified standards.">
  • Create and maintain production schedules based on project priorities and deadlines.">
  • Communicate staffing, inventory, and equipment needs to leadership.">
  • Provide timely and thoughtful feedback to all employees to aid their personal and professional growth.">
  • Train and mentor the team to uphold high safety standards, adhere to standard work, provide timely solutions, and meet or exceed delivery timelines for customers.">
  • Identify proper work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.">
  • Offer training, instruction, and staff development. Include hiring, onboarding, conducting performance reviews/progressive coaching.">
  • Analyze safety incidents and complete incident reports, including 'close calls'.">
  • Review operators' equipment to ensure it is safe to use.">
  • Perform safety audits in your departments for lockout-tagout usage and other hazards.">
  • Maintain rigorous housekeeping practices.">

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.">
  • Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.">
  • The ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.">
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.">
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.">

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
