We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Dell Children's Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and adjust all imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
  • Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
  • Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
Requirements
  • Cardiac Sonographer specializing in Adult Echo credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Advanced Pediatric Echocardiography Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer-Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) or Fetal Echocardiography Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer-Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-FE) also accepted.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-ACS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCCS) also accepted.
