Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Driscoll Children's Hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medication therapy to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Work closely with pharmacy personnel to ensure safe and efficient delivery of patient care.
- Monitor patients to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes and identify potential medication-related problems.
- Verify the appropriateness of medication orders and ensure timely processing of medication requests.
- Initiate and process medication incident reports and adverse drug reaction reports as needed.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to promote efficient daily workflow.
- Participate in ongoing self-education activities and earn required CE credits for license renewal.
- Contribute to departmental data collection and reporting of Drug Use Evaluation, Quality Assurance, and Quality Improvement activities.
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree.
- One to three years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
