About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center, a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiac center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret doctor's orders to determine the type of radiography or treatment required for patients.
  • Position and instruct patients on procedures being performed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Administer non-injectable contrast material for routine radiographs and monitor for any adverse reactions.
  • Operate stationary and mobile x-ray equipment, process and review radiographs for quality, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Licensed and Registered as a Radiology Technologist with the New York State Department of Health.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiology.
  • Completion of Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school.
  • BLS certification required.
