We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of aircraft modifications and maintenance functions.
Key Responsibilities- Aircraft Maintenance and Modifications: Independently perform a range of aircraft maintenance and modification tasks, including removal and installation of airframes, landing gear, engine components, electrical components, and control systems.
- Work Direction and Supervision: Provide work direction and supervision to assigned technicians, promoting high standards of quality through instruction and example setting.
- Coordination and Compliance: Coordinate with the Inspection department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
- Material Management and Safety: Properly identify and store customer property and equipment, and follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
- Training and Development: Assist in training new employees on computerized maintenance program (CMP) maintenance manuals, SRMs illustrated parts catalog (IPC) usage, flight test installations, and all maintenance of major components.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required, 4 years Aviation Maintenance experience, including 3 years of experience working on mid/large size aircraft.
- FAA Certifications: Other FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required.
- Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
