Role Overview:
As a Senior Equipment Engineering Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough investigations into quality incidents related to equipment and implementing corrective actions.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing critical equipment failures.
  • Participating actively in the installation, buyoff, and qualification of new equipment.
  • Verifying and approving the quality of preventive maintenance performed by the sustaining team.
  • Managing the release and updates of equipment-related documentation, including Work Instructions, FMEA, Checklists, and Troubleshooting Guides.
  • Engaging in quality and process audits for equipment.
  • Initiating and completing improvement projects aligned with organizational goals.
  • Overseeing spare part inventory in the warehouse.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment engineering within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong analytical skills with a good grasp of statistical tools for data analysis.
  • Ability to present effectively to large groups.
  • Familiarity with DMAIC, 5 Whys, Cause & Effect, and FTA Analysis tools.

Preferred:
  • Experience with computer systems and networks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Test Handlers, Testers, and Test Sockets.
  • Background in High DUT Count Memory Testing and Memory Testing.

Skills:
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledgeable in electronic components.
  • Competent in using Windows OS, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
