About the Role:
We are seeking skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Providers to conduct comprehensive assessments on veterans. The ideal candidate will review medical health records, perform thorough evaluations, and complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) through our secure Web Portal.

The selected individual will not be responsible for making disability determinations, as this falls under the VA's purview. This role involves providing assessments only, with an average of 4 veteran evaluations per day and working 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent medical assessments, focusing on fact-finding and investigative roles
- Spend at least 50% of their time reviewing medical records and documenting exam findings electronically
- Identify key data points within large electronic medical records
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete DBQs and form medical opinions
- Possess excellent typing skills and demonstrate strong time management abilities to meet submission deadlines within 24 hours

Requirements:
- Hold a current license as a Physiatrist
- Be Board Certified in either Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA

Salary:
Estimated annual salary: $120,000 - $180,000 based on location and experience
