The Birthing Center at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide empowering care to patients.
As a Birthing Center RN, you will assess the health status of individuals and groups, establish nursing diagnoses, and implement the plan of care.
You will work with a team of providers, midwives, nurses, and support staff to provide high-quality care to patients.
QUALIFICATION
EDUCATION:
Graduate of RN accredited program.
EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS:
Preferred:
Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg experience.
Experience with C-Sections, epidurals, electronic charting, venipuncture proficiency, and a minimum of two years experience in an LDRP unit with a delivery rate of 400 a year.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S):
Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Vermont.
Current BLS Healthcare Provider status.
Post Hire Requirements:
NRP provider status
BC Epidural/ C-section recovery program
BMH IV certification or demonstrated proficiency
S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification
Advanced Fetal Monitoring course
