Software Engineer III Infrastructure Google Ads

As a Software Engineer III in Infrastructure at Google Ads, you will play a critical role in developing the next-generation technologies that power the open internet. Our team is responsible for building the infrastructure that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies and participate in design reviews.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.
