Job Summary:

Glenville State University is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Assistant to join its Division II Sports Information Office. The successful candidate will report to the Sports Information Director and serve a 10-month annual appointment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of game-day events and activities.
  • Support the oversight and execution of the department's social media activities.
  • Assist the Sports Information Director in daily office operations and administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the Athletic Department website and assist in the execution of necessary administrative details.
  • Assist in the selection of weekly Athlete of the Week nominations for the MEC and department awards.
  • Maintain the department hallway and honor the reigning First-Team All-MEC performers.
  • Support fundraising efforts and community service activities.
  • Assist in creative efforts such as statistics, photography, design, and video production.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a graduate degree program at Glenville State University.
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
