About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at Jewish Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in cardiac care to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Intermediate/Step Down Cardiac Unit
- Care for patients undergoing post OP Coronary Bypass Graft, Valve surgery, Chest pain, Dysrhythmia with pre/post Pacemaker/AICD placement, pre/post Cath Lab, CHF
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as an RN in a cardiac PCU setting
- CABG experience and competent post cath sheath removal
- Competent with cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, primacor, dobutamine, dopamine, and heparin
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH & KY License
