About the Job

We are seeking an Adjunct Associate Professor of Digital Media to teach courses in the Multimedia/Digital Media program. The successful candidate will have experience in digital media production and be able to adapt teaching strategies to different levels of students' ability and learning styles.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct courses in Digital Media in accordance with credit course outlines approved by the Board of Trustees.
  • Maintain expertise in current teaching methods, discipline knowledge, and discipline-specific technologies.
  • Assist students in achieving stated course objectives and evaluate their progress.
  • Participate in the departmental process of curriculum review, modification, and assessment of student learning outcomes.
  • Support the Division Dean in cooperating with campus and community groups to provide programs, courses, and information relevant to the needs of students and various programs.
Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for this position include an associate's degree in any area plus a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in digital media production. Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students is also required.
