About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join our Sensor Power and Analog Design team at Raytheon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing power conversion, analog circuitry, and servo/motor control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with a team of engineers to develop designs based on requirements, operational specifications, and RTX guidelines
  • Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion, analog circuitry, or servo/motor control systems
  • Provide support to production, integration, and test activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Execute to program schedules on time and budget
  • Demonstrate self-motivation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
  • Coursework in the following areas: Analog Electronics, Power Electronics/Systems, or Control Systems
  • Knowledge of modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar computer-based tools
  • 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • ABET accreditation
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
  • Hardware development experience
  • Knowledge of test and production methods for electronics/power system components
  • Existing US DOD security clearance
