We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

About the Role:

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work closely with individuals to identify and achieve their goals, promote healthy living, and support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, bathing, and meal preparation.
  • Accompany individuals to community outings, appointments, and social events.
  • Teach independent living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized plans.
  • Provide education on human, legal, and civil rights.
  • Connect individuals with resources and opportunities for personal growth and development.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license (if required for transportation).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a team environment.
