Position Overview
The College of Science and Engineering at Houston Christian University invites applications for adjunct faculty roles within the Professional Science Master's Program. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about teaching and committed to student development in a Christian context.
Adjunct faculty members will collaborate with the HCU Pampell online division and other faculty in the College of Science and Engineering to create and deliver graduate-level courses in professional science. These positions are part-time and contingent upon the university's needs. Applications are accepted year-round from qualified candidates willing to teach on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver graduate-level courses in fields such as Epidemiology, Biochemistry, Biostatistics, and Anatomy through an engaging online platform.
- Contribute to course development and assessment, providing recommendations for curriculum enhancements.
- Facilitate an online classroom environment that promotes effective Christian learning.
- Encourage students to deepen their understanding and skills in cybersecurity within a faith-based framework.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- A doctoral degree in a relevant field, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in a related discipline and teaching experience.
- Preferred professional experience in the relevant field.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
