Company OverviewTreehouse Learning Center is a quality learning center located in Gahanna, OH. Our mission at Treehouse Learning Center is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate atmosphere, which fosters a child's natural desire to explore, discover, and create.
We believe in the value and uniqueness of each child. Our childcare experience is designed to promote each child's own individual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. We use a hands-on approach to teaching, as children learn best and have more fun when engaged in tactile experiences.
Job ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking out individuals with a heart for learning and those who are ready and motivated to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and their families. Essential job responsibilities include:
- Must be optimistic, team-oriented and dedicated to the well-being of our children and daily center operations.
- Assist with implementing the daily lesson plan and curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
- Effectively communicate with children, their parents and other co-workers to assist with maintaining control of the classroom through effective transitioning and setting boundaries.
- Use positive child guidance strategies to instruct children.
- Assist in keeping the environment safe, clean, and organized.
- Comply with ODJFS licensing regulations and Treehouse Learning Center policies and procedures.
- Meet the physical and emotional needs of each child and provide a conducive atmosphere that makes children and families feel valued.
- Come to work on time, enthusiastic and prepared.
- Be flexible with work hours and classroom assignments as they may vary to meet the needs of the center.
- Attend all trainings, staff meetings and other professional development initiatives as required.
The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
