The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 to $80,000, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Special Education Teacher to join our team at Haugland Learning Center LLC. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student with special needs.

You will monitor student progress through tracking and assessing student development, making necessary adjustments to keep them on the path to success. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing challenging behaviors and implementing behavior support plans.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating, implementing, and managing IEPs, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, and staff. A collaborative mindset and passion for Special Education are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in special education, education or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong experience in creating, implementing, and managing individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Possesses a collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for Special Education through patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students with special needs succeed.
