Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer technical and programmatic insights for the coordination of various concurrent TCM qualification initiatives.
  • Guide contractor production teams in developing precise and actionable qualification programs that align with MDA's urgent requirements.
  • Maintain qualification plans throughout the program's lifecycle by fostering effective communication with contractor teams.
  • Keep the TCM program office updated on progress and schedule adjustments to manage potential impacts effectively.
  • Utilize expertise to ensure test plans are developed with the appropriate scope and detail, leading to successful test outcomes.
  • Support and observe test events to guarantee execution aligns with established plans and procedures.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly product line reviews to ensure alignment with mission objectives.
  • Engage in multiple Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings to track and account for impacts across teams in the overall testing schedules.
  • Ensure all necessary resources for successful testing are in place, including personnel, logistics, and preparation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams in problem analysis and resolution.
  • Experience in providing daily supervision and guidance to support teams as needed.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to present to senior management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in executing hardware qualification programs from planning through test execution.
  • Familiarity with qualification standards for missile programs, particularly in Vibration, Shock, Thermal, and Electro-Magnetic Interference.
  • Experience with planning software tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Understanding of the Missile Defense Agency's processes and the Missile Defense System.
  • Knowledge of government acquisition, systems engineering, and program lifecycle planning.
  • Previous experience collaborating with prime contractors and Federally Funded Research & Development Centers (FFRDCs).
  • Experience in technical proposal development and evaluation.
Education:

A Master's degree with 12+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of experience in missile defense-related or complex DoD programs/projects.

Travel Requirements:

Travel may be required 1-2 weeks per year based on customer needs.

Compensation:

Salary range is $140,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
