The RN Nurse Manager Cath Lab is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cardiovascular Lab Services department at HCA Florida JFK North Hospital. This includes planning, directing, and administering the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Lab (Special Procedures), Pre/Post Holding Unit, and staff to ensure quality service on a 24-hour basis.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and manage elements such as scheduling, personnel, and other resources to provide high-quality care with trained, professional, and competent staff in a safe and efficient manner.
- Supervise the scheduling component for procedures done in the cardiovascular services department.
- Communicate with revenue services, billing, and coding to support revenue integrity in the cardiovascular services.
- Implement strategies and programs to incorporate evidence-based tactics, technologies, and services to enhance the level of care provided to patients.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare disciplines to ensure efficient, cost-effective patient care.
- Partner with peers, leadership, and providers to maintain the growth and success of the cardiovascular services department.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor's Degree.
