New Construction Representative Job Summary

As a New Construction Representative at OGE Energy Corp., you will serve as the central contact for new construction accounts within the scope of the Serve New Business Process. Your primary responsibility will be to ascertain the required resources for service initiation and coordinate activities with Project Leaders & other Field Personnel.

You will also serve as a liaison between the company and customers, monitoring the progress of projects from initiation through completion to ensure efficient and timely initiation of service.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating with Project Leaders, Schedulers & Field personnel various orders as required to initiate, terminate, maintain or correct customer records.

Additionally, you will answer inquiries from customers and Company members regarding the status of jobs and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and Coordinate with Project Leaders, Schedulers & Field personnel various orders as required to initiate, terminate, maintain or correct customer records.
* Serve as liaison between various Company departments and city/county electrical inspectors.
* Answer inquiries from customers and Company members regarding the status of jobs and inspections.
* First contact for new construction services in our service territory.
* Initiate contract; monitor project status and assure timely records updates.
* Audit orders to ensure adherence to process.
* Maintain and coordinate service area inspections.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma/GED And 2 years of directly related experience.

Working Conditions:

* May be required to work non-standard work schedules including overtime, weekends, holidays, on-call and call-outs.

Special Safety Requirements:

* This position is classified as a Safety-Sensitive Job under state law. Individuals in this position are subject to the terms and conditions set forth in OGE Energy Corp.'s Drug Testing Plan.

* Ability to work without direct supervision to accomplish tasks.
* Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with customers and company members in speech and writing and possess a clear, precise voice on telephone.
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively during heavy workload conditions.
* Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to make decisions based on customer interaction and company policy and exercise good judgment.
* Ability to promote a positive company image to customers.

* Valid Driver's License (Required)

Salary Range:

$52,915 - $66,144
