Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our Mission Critical team. As a key member of our team, you'll lead architectural design projects from conceptual phase to completion, working closely with project managers to ensure project needs and requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Architectural Design: Develop and implement architectural design solutions for mission-critical data center projects, ensuring compliance with project, client, and industry standards.
  • Design Development: Create and modify production drawings for various projects, including healthcare facilities, airports, educational institutions, and governmental and military facilities.
  • Project Management: Participate in project schedule, scope, budget, staffing planning, and construction planning, ensuring effective management of change orders.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality reviews of production drawings and project-related data to verify design compliance with project, client, and industry standards.
  • Communication: Collaborate with field personnel to resolve design-related installation issues, calculations, field inspections, and testing of materials.
  • Leadership: Lead field inspections, installation, measurements, or calculations for public and private clients, and prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications.
  • Business Development: Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers, and contractors, and develop new business opportunities to drive company growth.
  • Cost Management: Prepare, present, and manage project budgets and cost estimates, reporting project performance and ensuring compliance with company and site safety policies.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the architectural practice, mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers, and ensuring adherence to QA/QC processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Experience: 8 years of architectural experience, with consulting experience preferred.
  • Skills: Expert knowledge in standard architectural techniques and procedures, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and expert computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, BIM, Adobe Suites, and 3D rendering programs).
  • Registration: Registered Architect preferred.
