Job Title: Project Manager - Electrical Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our electrical construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction management processes, means, and methods, as well as expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct electrical construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Review project plans and schedules to estimate costs and identify potential risks.
  • Coordinate and direct electrical construction workers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance and ensure quality construction standards.
  • Analyze and mitigate risks, and negotiate terms of agreements and draft contracts.
  • Prepare internal and external reports on job status and progress.
Requirements:
  • Proven working experience in electrical construction project management, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Understanding of all facets of the electrical construction process.
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software, such as AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with construction/project management software.
  • Proficient in handling electrical aspects of a construction project.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
