Position Overview:

We are in search of a caring and empathetic caregiver to enhance our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, a warm personality, and the capability to offer various levels of assistance to our clients.

Compensation: Starting at $14 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist elderly clients or those recovering from medical procedures with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Remind clients to adhere to their prescribed medication schedules.
  • Support clients with mobility both inside the home and during outings.
  • Help with personal care and hygiene needs.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
  • Facilitate shopping for clients or accompany them during their errands.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Report any unusual occurrences and respond appropriately in emergencies.
  • Engage clients in daily living activities, including meal assistance.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with client transportation as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Previous caregiving experience and/or certification as a CNA, PCA, LPN, or RN.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Successful completion of a thorough background and reference check.
  • Pass PHC's skills and knowledge evaluation.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
  • Basic proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
