Position Overview
The Culinary Team Member plays a crucial role in our establishment, with responsibilities that encompass preparation, organization, and delivering exceptional service in all aspects of food production for menu selections and specials, adhering to departmental quality standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines, while embodying the culture of One White Street.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service and storage areas.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of proper equipment maintenance and usage; operate tools and equipment safely and as intended.
- Prepare workstations with necessary mise en place, tools, equipment, and supplies according to established standards.
- Review production schedules and prioritize tasks for the day.
- Prepare all menu items in accordance with recipes and yield guides, meeting departmental standards efficiently.
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
- Coordinate with Front of House staff to manage the timing of courses and address guest feedback.
- Enhance skills and knowledge by engaging in staff training opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive work environment.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and brand standards consistently.
- Comply with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Culinary Team Member in a restaurant setting.
- Food Handler's permit (to be obtained within 30 days of hiring).
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift over 50 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule based on business needs.
