Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Photographer during shoots with image ingestion and color preparation utilizing Capture One software.
  • Support lighting arrangements and occasionally execute photography shots under the guidance of the Lead Photographer.
  • Conduct color correction, process image selections, and manage delivery workflows efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to retouch technical images, incorporate basic graphical overlays, and prepare studio images for publication.
  • Uphold high-quality standards in all photographic outputs to satisfy a global audience.
  • Utilize standard retouching and preparation processes to ensure smooth transitions of work to other team members.
  • Execute background removals, color adjustments for consistency, and maintain organized layers for optimal efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, with a strong ability to perform high-quality retouching and preparation tasks.
  • Familiar with Capture One for image ingestion from tethered cameras.
  • Experience in a professional photography studio environment, assisting photographers during shoots.
  • Knowledgeable in lighting techniques and capable of executing shots when necessary.
  • Experienced in color correction, processing image selections, and managing delivery workflows.
  • Able to navigate corporate workflows, ensuring effective use of standard retouching and preparation processes.
  • Strong skills in background removal, color adjustments, and layer organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively within a team and working independently when required.
  • Some experience with technical photography and graphical overlays is preferred.
