We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Officer II to join our Corporate Banking team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing credit and loan underwriting expertise to our clients. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing prospective loan transactions and credit worthiness of borrowers.
Key Responsibilities- Review loan request applications and financial information to determine credit structure and terms
- Underwrite credit risk recommendations consistent with Bank format, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit Managers to determine credit strategy and provide balanced and appropriate credit guidance
- Provide input on loan pricing and restructuring as needed
- Monitor and respond to past dues and maintain up-to-date knowledge on Bank lending policies and regulations
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of five years experience in underwriting corporate banking loans
- Strong credit analysis and accounting skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of Bank personnel and outside contacts
At City National Bank, we offer a competitive starting base salary of $82.86 per hour, with the potential for bonus and/or commissions. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and a dynamic work environment that fosters growth and development.
