Job Summary

The Performance Improvement Coordinator is a key member of the Trauma program at SSM Health. Under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager, this role identifies performance issues, evaluates their impact, and develops action plans to improve patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the trauma program and document issues in the trauma registry.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans to address identified issues.
  • Collaborate with various disciplines and departments to develop action plans and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Participate in trauma registry data collection and validation.
  • Assist in implementing the action plan and monitoring its effectiveness through the performance improvement process.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensing.
  • Three years' registered nurse experience in trauma critical care or emergency nursing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
