Endocrinology Opportunity at MetroHealth
The MetroHealth System is seeking a skilled Endocrinologist to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, you will provide patient care in general endocrinology, thyroid, insulin pump & CGM, adrenal & pituitary, and bone metabolism. Our inpatient consult service for general endocrinology and glycemia management concerns offers a challenging and rewarding work environment.
In addition to patient care, you will participate in the teaching and training of internal medicine residents and endocrinology fellows. Research opportunities in clinical trials, health services research, and collaboration with active investigators are also available. You will receive an academic appointment to the medical faculty of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine commensurate with experience and achievement.

About MetroHealth
MetroHealth is an integrated health system with a main campus acute care hospital housing a Level I Adult Trauma and Burn Center, 2 satellite inpatient units, and 25 outpatient locations throughout northeastern Ohio. We provide medical, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, and vision services to diverse underserved communities in Cuyahoga County/Cleveland, Ohio, and surrounding areas.
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have an MD/DO degree, be eligible for an Ohio Medical License, and completed Endocrinology fellowship training. Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism is also required. Professionalism and strong interpersonal and communication skills are expected.
