Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Clerk to join our team at Adams and Associates, Inc. As a Medical Clerk, you will provide administrative and clinical medical services for the Wellness Department, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with all HIPAA laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the Wellness Department, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors and patients, scheduling appointments, processing and distributing mail, preparing reports, and maintaining medical records and related files.

• Conduct cursory medical tasks as directed by supervisor, including measuring and monitoring vital signs, recording patient history, performing basic lab tests, collecting lab specimens, and other authorized medical tasks as requested.

• Assist the Wellness Manager in coordinating medical, mental, and dental services for students, maintaining accurate and complete student health records, and ensuring compliance with Company and PRH guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable laws and regulations regarding patient privacy and the maintenance of medical records.

• Perform first aid treatment, bedside patient care, and other wellness services as required, maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary environment within Wellness Services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred.

• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Suites of applications required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
